Victorhill Farm Wreaths 2013

Here are some of the different styles of handmade wreaths from this season. Supplies are very limited:

In the Gift Shop

We have been busy stocking the gift shop with fun gift items and sweet little ornaments for your tree. Here a few of the new items available at our farm during the 2013 season. While supplies last.

Friendly felt wall trophies from Roost...  "Fun and fantasy pervade amongst our forest friends, each a unique character since they are made by hand in whimsically-worked wool felt. Mounted on a wooden plaque with metal keyhole mount for hanging, they are an irresistible bunch of rascals". Sold Out.

Roost wooly gnomes, elves, foxy foxes, and traveling mice are just a few of the ornaments available to help you decorate your tree.  "These hand-stitched wool felt and hand-carved wooden details give our quirky elves their charm."

Felty flock of sheep from Roost. "This little flock of sheep is adorable with their crazy wool coats. Sheep come in two different sizes and in either taffy or cream color. For easy sheep herding during the holidays sheep stand alone or hang from a jute loop on your tree". Approx 4.5"high. Online purchases of a Pair Shaggy Sheep available.

Owlish Felt Ornament from Roost...."The bushy eyebrows, wood button eyes, and curious expressions of our felt owls make them charming accents for holiday trees. They nestle perfectly in branches from wool loops in a cool earthy palette of teals, greys, moss, brown, and ochre. Six different styles 3.5" to 5.5 high.

After or before you find your tree stop by the gift shop for a hot beverage, candy canes, a wreath and ornaments for your tree. For your convenience we also have tree stands, tree preserve and wreath hangers.....and plenty of helpful friendly service.

And on most days you can watch as we make wreaths.

Wreath Making at Victorhill Farm

Before the farm is officially open for the upcoming holiday season, after the trees are all trimmed,we are busy making and decorating wreaths. My favorite part is the wonderful woodsy pine needle scent of wreath making that fills the whole shop! If only I could bottle it up to whiff the heady aroma all year long!

The first step in making a wreath is gathering boughs. Only the tips of branches are used.

Open Studios of Beavercreek is Here

Hi There!
Can you believe it it's time for the Open Studios of Beavercreek Fall Tour? We are #11 on the tour and will be open all weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10-4PM, for your viewing pleasure.
Stop by for a cookie, a warm drink then feast your eyes on the newest artwork from 4 different artists all with their own unique style of creating art. There's more info and pics on the Blenda Studio Blog.

The stars are made from recycled shaving cream cans if you can believe it!

 In addition, see what's new in the gift shop. We've been stocking up for the holidays and want you to be the first to see what 's new so you can get a head start on your holiday shopping list.

This is just a small glimpse--plus we have flowers!

 Our new self serve flowerstand out by the road will be stocked with fresh cut flowers until they all sell out. Hurry supply is limited.
